Keyaki

Love the exterior and interior design of this place! Gives you the vibes of being in Japan, with the stone walls and all. Once you arrive, you get a warm towel (like how they serve you in planes yeap). I like the beef teppanyaki. It's quite well cooked, and the fried garlic is a good complement. Expect to pay more definitely. But well worth coming back!

For once I thought I had immersed myself in a Japanese mini garden restaurant. Food was presented in an artistic manner which makes it always photogenic. Service of staff are all well trained and nothing much to pin point about except for its portion? I took the brunch set and maybe it’s due to the price point versus ala carte (oh it’s not my first time to this restaurant )… portions seem smaller? My friend was not full and it’s my treat so I was a little embarrassed although the ambience made up for it. Please keep up the delicious food , amazing upkeep of the garden and koi and if possible upsize the portions to make it perfect. For the photos, I had combined my several visits together. So it does not mean that I ate so much in a visit! 🤭

Great experience at Keyaki for the first time celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Ordered ala carte teppanyaki and sashimi, quality was good but prices were steep and in our opinion not the best value. The sirloin beef though was a bit too chewy for our liking at medium rare. Service by Liz was excellent as she was very attentive and thoughtful throughout, even surprising us with a cake at the end!

Booked over the platform. The time slots are weird. Cannot get 7pm. Called the receipt to over right the booking on platform. Was informed to have $100 deposit… is it necessary? Arrived slightly early that day. Was seated over teppanyaki table. Seat just beside the flipping doors. I asked they are able to close one side (there’re total 3 flipping doors). De ire by the service staff. Reason- they’ve to serve food?? There’re plenty to space to move! The service staff than proved and explain that we need to order 2 sets. The table beside with 3 adults and children ordered only 2 sets probably? Why so much deviation of standards? I proceed to check if I’m able to order 1 set and some ala-carte ? The service agreed. But when the manager came over, he Informed us must have 2 sets! Told him that his service staff told us it’s okay but now changed again? Anyway, our ala- carte cost more than the set! The chef service us is good actually, but he’s always on the rush due to too much orders. Beef is normal. Prawns with mayonnaise a bit turn off for me. Scalp was okay. Foie gras is surprisingly good. The fried rice was a bit of let down too. After awhile, another manger came over and served us. He’s good. Unfortunately cannot remember his name! I do not mind if price has risen many folds.
